The New Climate Economy (NCE) accelerates ambitious climate action in developing countries and emerging economies in a way that delivers economic growth, good jobs, poverty reduction, and health benefits. Between 2013-2023, the NCE project worked to build the evidence base to demonstrate that climate action is the growth story of the 21st century. In 2023, NCE moved fully under the World Resources Institute’s Climate, Economics and Finance Programme and its theory of change has been adopted for the program’s country-level work.
